Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a contract Systems Engineer for a Boeing project, with work through a Boeing approved third party for the duration of the assignment.

You will evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, assist in architecture development, ensure traceability, and coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines within an Agile environment. A active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience within an engineering field.
• Familiar with Cameo Systems Modeler/SysML.
• Familiar with DOORS.
• Experience working within a SAFe Agile organization utilizing planning tools such as Version One or JIRA.
• Experience with Training Systems and/or Boeing military aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Assist in the development of the system architecture
• Ensure traceability between requirements and design elements
• Allocate requirements to sub-system teams
• Coordinate efforts and interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines
• Understand, support, and apply agile principles, practices, and processes
• Listen and support teams in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision making
• Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture and designs
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
