Brown & Brown is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriter Associate to join our Pipersville, PA team. The role supports the Contract Surety group by handling underwriting administration, bond submissions, and client communication to ensure accurate processing and timely issuance of bonds.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, with insurance or financial services experience and proficiency in MS Office. A bachelor’s degree in business/finance/insurance or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience in insurance, financial services, administration, or a related office environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Surety, underwriting, brokerage, or agency experience.
  • AINS, ARM, CIC, or related designations/coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and underwriting support to producers and underwriters.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to support our Contract Surety team. This role assists producers and underwriters throughout the bond placement process, ensuring submissions are processed accurately, clients receive exceptional service, and carrier requirements are met.

How You Will Contribute:
