Job summary

Hut 8 in Miami is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the Legal team, owning the first-pass review and drafting of routine commercial agreements, managing contract intake and workflows, and maintaining contract templates and systems.

This role drives efficiency, reduces risk, and ensures consistency across contracting processes, while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely contract outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience reviewing, redlining, and managing commercial contract lifecycles.
• Strong working knowledge of NDAs, vendor agreements, and services contracts.
• Demonstrated experience conducting high-volume NDA review and redlining independently.
• Able to apply fallback language using established playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first-pass review and redlining of NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and standard services agreements.
• Draft contracts from approved templates and apply appropriate fallback positions.
• Escalate complex issues to the Associate General Counsel.
• Maintain contract status trackers and documentation before execution.
• Coordinate signature packets and contract management workflows.
