Job summary

The U.S. Department of the Navy seeks a candidate with at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

The role focuses on contracting, procurement, and oversight of complex actions under FAR and OTA procedures. Experience includes planning, coordinating, negotiating, and approving long-term procurement actions in a timely manner and evaluating cost and pricing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contracting and procurement specializations and applicable contracts including commercial and noncommercial contracts executed under the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Other Transaction Authority procedures.
• Planning, coordinating, negotiating, and assuring completion of approvals for long term pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions are completed within a timely manner; and
• Evaluating cost and pricing strategies.
