Job summary

U.S. Marine Corps is seeking a candidate with specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/NH-02 level in federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience.

The role requires knowledge of contracting and procurement specializations under FAR and Other Transaction Authority procedures, plus planning, coordinating, negotiating, and ensuring timely approvals for long-term procurement actions. Experience evaluating cost and pricing strategies is essential.

Job description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Knowledge of assigned contracting and procurement specializations and applicable contracts including commercial and noncommercial contracts executed under the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Other Transaction Authority procedures;
• Planning, coordinating, negotiating, and assuring completion of approvals for long term pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions are completed within a timely manner;
• Evaluating cost and pricing strategies.
