Job summary
The Mom Project is seeking a Software QA Engineer 3 on a contract basis to support our client’s medical robotics manufacturing software. The role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, five days a week.
You will develop, execute, and release test plans and automation, analyze results, and collaborate with Equipment, Manufacturing, and Quality engineers to qualify software for production equipment. Candidates should have a BS/MS in a related field and at least two years of software testing experience in
Qualifications
- BS or MS in CE, EE, CS, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of professional software testing experience.
- Experience validating software for manufacturing equipment in regulated settings (medical/government).
- Strong analytical, time management, organization, and communication skills.
- Experience with automated device testing.
- Experience with business software (PLM, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet).
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and validation on manufacturing equipment.
- Support existing production software and troubleshoot line issues.
- Implement best practices in software testing including automation.
- Plan and coordinate multidisciplinary effort with various teams.
- Strong documentation, communication skills.
- Work independently to overcome roadblocks with some guidance.
- Support other software-related duties as required.
- Interface with multiple technical and support teams.
