Job summary

Brayman Construction is seeking a full-time Site Safety Project Representative for a contract on a Cincinnati, OH project. The role emphasizes promoting a proactive safety culture, conducting training, and enforcing safety policies throughout the assignment.

The position reports to the Corporate Safety Director and includes responsibilities such as incident investigations, jobsite inspections, and PPE management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience in the general construction industry, preferably civil infrastructure and heavy highway construction OR BS in Safety with 3 years of relevant experience.
• 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety class or its equivalent.
• OSHA 500 Trainer and First Aid/CPR Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with the site drug testing program.
• Develop and conduct training as needed at the project, including, but not limited to, fall protection, confined space, personal protective equipment, first aid/CPR, signal person, and Hazard Communication.
• Write, review, and modify site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure jobsite compliance with Federal, State, and Local Regulations, as well as Corporate Policies and Procedures.
• Lead incident investigation efforts, document findings, and assist in developing lessons learned to help prevent recurrence.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, including inspection of power tools, cords, and other potential hazards.
• Conduct PPE inspections, order and replace PPE, and administer related training.
