Job summary

Brayman Construction is hiring a full-time Site Safety Project Representative for a Cincinnati, OH project. The role supports the project team by conducting safety training, evaluating hazards, and implementing corrective measures, reporting to the Corporate Safety Director.

This contract position (~6 months) requires conducting orientations, training on fall protection/PPE/HP, ensuring policy compliance, leading incident investigations, and inspecting jobsites and PPE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience in general construction, preferably civil infrastructure and heavy highway construction, or BS in Safety with 3 years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety class or equivalent.
• OSHA 500 Trainer and First Aid/CPR Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with the site drug testing program.
• Develop and conduct training on fall protection, confined space, PPE, first aid/CPR, signal person, and Hazard Communication.
• Write, review, and modify site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure jobsite compliance with Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Corporate Policies.
• Lead incident investigations, document findings, and develop lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections of tools, cords, hazards, and PPE inspections.
