Job summary

Brayman Construction is seeking a full-time Area Safety Representative based in Saxonburg, PA, with assignments across the Pittsburgh region and an eight-month project in Cincinnati, OH. The role reports to the Corporate Safety Director and supports field workers with training, site assessments, and safety improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of safety experience in general construction, a BS in Safety, OSHA 30, and preferably OSHA 500 Trainer and First Aid CPR Instructor.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of safety experience in general construction, preferably civil infrastructure.
• 30-hour OSHA Construction safety class or equivalent.
• OSHA 500 Trainer and First Aid CPR Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with site drug testing program.
• Develop and conduct training at the project on safety topics (fall protection, PPE, first aid/CPR, etc.).
• Write, review, and modify site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure jobsite compliance with Federal, State, Local regulations and corporate policies.
