Randstad USA is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant (Consultant) for the Dallas area. The role focuses on factory accounting, month-end close, and revenue recognition in a manufacturing environment. The consultant must work onsite and operate independently once up and running.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and about 3 years of experience, with expert Excel skills and strong knowledge of standard costing and ASC 606. Contract engagement with 8-5 schedule.

Qualifications

• Senior Cost Accountant background required.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Expert-level Excel skills mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Standard Costing.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
• Hands-on ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage journal entries, month-end close, inventory and factory-specific reporting.
• Oversee and review the work of the site bidding team (3 employees).
• Perform revenue recognition using various methods for manufacturing.
• Bridge data gaps between the current system and manual spreadsheets to provide actionable information.
• Pass knowledge and mentorship to junior and mid-level accounting staff.
