Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on contract to support students’ communication and academic success in a school setting near Sugar Land, TX. You’ll work under supervising SLPs to help children reach personal and educational goals.

In this role you’ll carry out treatment plans, provide direct therapy to students, track progress, and prepare instructional materials while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current SLPA licensure in Texas.
• Experience with pediatric or school-aged children preferred.
• Ability to assist in development and implementation of speech/language programs under supervision.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Compassion and dedication to student support.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in group or individual settings
• Track and document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in team meetings and communicate student needs and progress to the educational team
• Prepare materials and adapt resources to facilitate student learning
• Support the speech therapy team in other duties as directed
