Job summary

Soliant Health in California is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract role serving elementary through high school students near Lancaster. You will collaborate with educators and a supervising OT to support skill development and daily living tasks in a dynamic school setting.

The ideal candidate holds a CA COTA license, is organized, communicates well, and can adapt across grade levels.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in the state of California.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Ability to adapt to elementary, middle, and high school environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist, teachers, and families.
• Assist in creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Help modify classroom materials and routines to accommodate students’ needs.
