Job summary

Prime Healthcare Holy Family Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Resurrection Medical Center on a contract basis. This full-time night role runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours weekly, for a 12-week temporary assignment with competitive pay at $55/hour.

The RRT will perform respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures under medical direction, requiring an active RCP license, NBRC RRT or eligibility within 3 months, BLS and ACLS, and 2 years of acute

Qualifications

• State licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligibility within 3 months of hire
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current or within 90 days
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physician
• Assess, plan, implement and document care with patient age/population needs in mind
• Lead RCP duties during shift in supervisor's absence if assigned

Education

RCP license

NBRC RRT or eligibility (within 3 months)

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Degree: Associate/Bachelor preferred

High School Diploma required

2 years acute care experience preferred
