Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week
Unit: MICU (4C)
Classification: RN-MICU
Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM

- Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +

- Unit Guidelines:
- Badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30 minute lunch.
- Be on time for scheduled shifts (Clock in time 6:38 am/pm, after 6:45 is considered tardy)
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Stoke Certification
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
- MICU & MSICU background
- IABP exposure
- CRRT exposure
- Meditech experience preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- ACTIVE TX RN License - TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Procedures performed on unit:
- Intubations, central lines, art lines
- NG Tubes, Foley Catherers, Dressing Changes
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings - Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
