RN-Registered Nurse // ICU - Intensive Care Unit $1,358 weekly stipends $17 - $18/hour $612.0 - $648 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 9/30/2026 13 weeks

UNIT SPECIFICS

• Number of Beds: 16
• Estimated Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Unit Staffing: Assignments based on acuity and skills
• Equipment:
  • ICU ventilators
  • NxStage
  • Arctic Sun
  • Client Cardiac Output Monitor
  • Other standard ICU equipment
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Flexible; schedule posted one month in advance
• Floating Policy: As needed

CERTIFICATIONS:

• CCRN preferred

HIRING PROFILE

MUST HAVE:

• 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Certification

PREFERRED / ADVANCED SKILLS:

• CRRT
• Hypothermia protocol
• Meditech experience preferred

SPECIALTY / UNIT CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Active Texas RN license
• Temporary licenses will not be accepted

PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT

• Central line placements
• Bedside thoracentesis
• Dialysis catheter placements
• Cardioversions
• Intubations
• Other ICU procedures

PATIENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Surgical patient population
• Oncology experience especially preferred

DRESS CODE

RN SCRUB COLOR:

• Royal blue scrubs

NAIL POLICY:

• Nails must be clean and healthy
• No artificial nails, gel, NextGen, etc.

HAIR:

• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Hair must be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer when working in the lab

TATTOOS:

• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Body art that cannot be covered daily will be addressed individually

PIERCINGS:

• Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited
• Includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
