Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for local and travel contracts in the Santa Monica area. You will ensure high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Ideal candidates hold an active Arizona RN license, have at least 1 year hospital experience, and are comfortable with flexible hours.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
Prior experience as an RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
Desire to care for patients in acute care with integrity.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Must have 1 year hospital experience.
Efficient in electronic charting system.
BLS (required) / ACLS (preferred)
Current TB within a year
Physical within 6 months
Fingerprint Card clearance (current)

Responsibilities

Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
Develop and ensure nursing care plan; collaborate with physicians and therapists.
Make nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
Collaborate with resident and healthcare team.
Record administration of medication.
Monitor staff to follow safety regulations and policies.
Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
Perform other duties as directed.
