Job summary

Sweetwater Care Staffing in Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our local staffing team. The RN will ensure resident care in a clean, safe environment and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants for optimal treatment planning.

The role requires an active AZ RN license, at least 1 year hospital experience in acute settings, and proficiency with electronic charting; BLS is required, ACLS preferred, and TB test and physicals must be up to date.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Prior RN experience in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Desire to care for patients in an acute care setting with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• At least 1 year hospital experience.
• Efficient in electronic charting system.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Current TB test within a year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Fingerprint clearance (current).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
