Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for local and travel contracts in the Phoenix area. The role emphasizes high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment and requires collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff.

Ideal candidates hold an Arizona RN license, have at least 1 year hospital experience, and are able to work flexible hours. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred; you must complete TB, physicals, and fingerprint clearance as part of the onboarding

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Flexible hours available
• Fingerprint clearance, TB test, and physicals required

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed
• Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
