Job summary

Conductix-Wampfler is seeking an entry-level Customer Service assistant in Omaha, NE. You will support customers and outside sales with day-to-day activities, including contract review of incoming sales orders and accurate order entry.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy.
• Proficient use of Windows XP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good communication skills to interact with team members, customers, outside sales, and other internal departments.
• Good critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems related to orders.
• High degree of diligence to ensure correct information on orders.
• Ability to work at a steady pace even with interruptions and time pressure.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Industrial sales background a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm receipt of orders received via e-mail.
• Review and enter e-mail orders for accuracy and completeness based on customer and Conductix-Wampfler requirements.
• Routinely update Navpoint with ship-to addresses, contacts, and prospects.
• Communicate discrepancies or changes to customers as needed on orders.
• Work with outside sales and other internal departments to meet customer requirements.
• Enter customer concerns or complaints.
• Be an active member of the Operator ACD Phone line.
• Assist in other projects as assigned.
• Support and uphold the Quality and EHS policy.
