Job summary

IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Accounting Consultant to support revenue recognition and POC accounting under U.S. GAAP. You will partner with Accounting, Finance and Operations to ensure accurate recognition of revenue and profitability for contract projects.

Ideal candidates have construction, engineering, manufacturing, contracting, or project-based industry experience and a solid understanding of cost-to-cost accounting, WIP reporting, and related ASC 606 requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and POC accounting.
• Strong understanding of cost-to-cost accounting and WIP reporting.
• Background in contract accounting for project-based industries.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue recognition and POC accounting processes.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance and Operations to ensure accurate recognition of revenue and profitability.
