Clark Resources is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support fast-paced manufacturing hiring in Chicago. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for hourly and salaried positions and partner with hiring managers and HR leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of recruiting experience in manufacturing or industrial settings and can multitask across multiple openings in a deadline-driven environment.

Job description

We are seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of hourly and salaried positions while partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of recruiting experience within manufacturing or a similar industrial setting and is comfortable managing multiple openings in a deadline-driven environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
  • Recruit for hourly production, skilled trades, technical, administrative, and salaried positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring priorities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting resources.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and assess qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
  • Manage pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, references, and onboarding documentation.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently hired manufacturing positions.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates regarding open positions and hiring activity.
  • Represent the organization professionally and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Support additional recruiting and HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of recruiting experience within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, skilled trades, or a similar environment.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for multiple positions simultaneously.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing skills.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing hiring priorities.
  • High level of professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
