Boeing is seeking a software engineer for a contract assignment focused on developing, deploying, and maintaining vehicle management software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and integrate externally generated functions into the vehicle management system.

The role demands hands-on development, testing, and documentation. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in C/C++, SDLC, and real-time systems are required, with a Secret clearance or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++
• 5+ years of experience with SDLC
• Experience with Real-Time or Non-Real-Time software
• 3+ years in Safety Critical software development
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-516C/MIL-STD-882E/DO-178C is a plus

Responsibilities

• Implements, deploys and maintains software for vehicle management applications.
• Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and specifications.
• Develops vehicle management software and integrates externally-generated functions.
• Creates test plans and test cases for software validation.
• Performs verification, validation and integration per standards.
• Produces software design documentation and user manuals.
• Explores and implements current and emerging technologies and methods.
