Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Engineer for Vehicle Management Systems on a 6-month contract. The role requires active security clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in C/C++ with SDLC experience. You will develop and validate vehicle management software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation.

The position is contract-based with hourly pay and benefits through the vendor. Previous RTOS and safety-critical experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++.
• 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Implements, deploys and maintains software systems for vehicle management applications.
• Partners with cross functional engineering teams to identify, review and inform requirements and specifications.
• Develops vehicle management software and integrates externally-generated functions.
• Develops test plans and test cases for software validation.
• Performs verification, validation and integration processes for vehicle management software.
• Develops and maintains software documentation.
