Job summary

Aerospace Products in California seeks a skilled inspector to verify dimensions on incoming hardware using CMM software, prints, and inspection plans. You will work from approved documents and use precision instruments to confirm tolerances and surface finishes.

The role requires 3–5 years of aerospace inspection experience, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints, generate NCRs, and maintain calibration logs in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with the inspection of aircraft components.
• Must be able to inspect all of the above mentioned dimensions.
• Competence to read and interpret documents such as safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups within the organization
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions
• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming hardware from approved inspection plans and drawings.
• Verify dimensions, angles, radii, contours, holes and surface finishes.
• Maintain calibration logs and document non-conformances.
• Sign off steps on routers and follow inspection procedures.
• Generate RMA, NCR, and CAR as needed.
