Job summary

FBMC Benefits Management, Inc., an affiliate of Leavitt Group, seeks a 12 Month Fixed Term Project Manager in Tallahassee, FL. You will oversee multiple complex system implementations, coordinating cross-functional teams and guiding projects from kickoff to go-live.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management, strong stakeholder skills, and experience with benefits tech stacks. A PMP or similar cert is preferred; Salesforce, CRM, and EDI knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven success leading system implementations, technology deployments, or data migration projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Skilled at translating business requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Experience presenting project updates to clients, leadership teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Ability to independently manage priorities while influencing teams without direct reporting authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of benefits administration platform migrations (Selerix, Premier Enroll, etc.).
• Drive projects from planning through go-live and post-launch support.
• Maintain on-time, within-scope delivery aligned with client schedules and dates.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Integration, Salesforce, Data & EDI, Account Management, and other teams.
• Establish governance, documentation standards, change control, and best practices.
• Lead risk management, issue resolution, and escalation when needed.

12 Month Fixed Term Position- W2 - Project Manager

Position Overview

In this role, you'll oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as a key partner to clients and stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Lead Critical Client Implementations

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of benefits administration platform migrations, including Selerix, Premier Enroll, and other client system transitions.

• Drive projects from planning and discovery through implementation, testing, go-live, and post-launch support.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client enrollment schedules and effective dates.

Manage Multiple Strategic Projects

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities and deadlines.

• Maintain visibility across active implementations, releases, and strategic initiatives to identify potential risks and resource constraints early.

Collaborate Across Teams

• Partner with stakeholders across Integration, Salesforce, Data & EDI, Account Management, Benefits Communications, and Contact Center teams.

• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive-level communications.

• Build alignment and consensus among cross-functional teams and leadership.

Drive Process Excellence

• Establish and maintain project governance, documentation standards, change control processes, and project best practices.

• Lead risk identification, issue resolution, and escalation efforts.

• Manage the Salesforce enhancement and release planning process, including intake, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.

Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of project management experience.

• Proven success leading system implementations, technology deployments, or data migration projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Open Enrollment cycles, employer group benefits administration, and implementation timelines.

• PMP, CAPM, ScrumMaster, or similar project management certification.

• Understanding of HIPAA and PHI/PII data privacy requirements.
