Job summary

Raise is hiring a Project Controls Analyst in Cary, NC to support project planning, budgeting and reporting. You will work with project management and engineering teams to manage project finances and maintain accurate data for leadership decisions.

The role handles standard to moderately complex tasks independently, with guidance from senior team members as needed. Office-based environment with potential travel as required.

Qualifications

• University degree or technical diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate data to support business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project management and engineering to create projects and requisitions in Oracle Cloud.
• Input, execute, track, and report on change orders with project teams.
• Monitor bi-weekly and monthly project payments (CWIP) and vendor invoicing for forecasting.
• Develop forecasts and prepare financial reports for leadership.
• Support month-end close processes with Finance.
• Build and maintain financial models and reports for program performance.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Engineering, and Construction for timely invoice processing.
• Analyze project data to support management decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
