Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor for a 6-month contract in Kokomo, IN. This onsite role will manage small teams in a high-volume, unionized manufacturing setting, ensuring safety and production plan adherence.

The ideal candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and develop staff through coaching and mentoring while maintaining strong relationships with leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant.
• Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams.
• Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead small work teams in a fast-paced, high volume, unionized manufacturing environment.
• Ensure production plan is met and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Promote safety and enforce safety tools and procedures.
• Analyze losses and coordinate improvement activities using the Area’s systems.
• Engage kaizen projects focusing on Safety, Cost, Quality and Throughput.
