Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a Maintenance Area Supervisor in Kokomo, IN to lead skilled trades in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing setting. The role focuses on safety, quality, throughput, and ongoing equipment improvements, with coaching of teams and direct supervision of trades.

Starting pay is $25.68/hour, with benefits and 100% onsite work; flexibility for shift/overtime as needed. Preferred candidates will have 3+ years of industrial automation experience, plus project management

Qualifications

The candidate should have a strong background in industrial automation and project management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
Experience interfacing with plant leadership and hourly/supervisory staff is valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct skilled trades to meet maintenance objectives.
Coordinate safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives.
Drive throughput improvements and coordinate maintenance activities.
Coach and mentor team members on problem solving and corrective action.
Direct supervision of the Skilled Trades personnel.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, waste reduction) with kaizen projects.
