Trajectory is seeking a Visual / Systems Designer to polish a dense developer platform. You will audit pages, tighten type, color, spacing, and icons, and refine navigation and layouts. Collaboration with design engineering and product will shape the visuals of core primitives like models and trajectories.
You should bring a strong portfolio in dense B2B or developer tools, and be comfortable working in Figma or directly coding visual iterations on the platform.
Context: Trajectory is building the platform for continual learning: a creative tool for model development that makes it easy for any AI company to build and train its own custom models. We're aiming for a public GA launch at the end of October.
The ask: Help us with the last 20% of visual polish, so the platform feels like a best-in-class developer tool. Our flows and page structure are in place; we need a designer to make it look and feel finished.
The work:
Audit every page of the platform and propose + create fixes for visual nits
Tighten the visual system: type, color, spacing, iconography, component states
Polish layout and page construction: navigation, page headers, tables, charts, empty states
Work with our design engineering and product team to set the visual direction for core primitives, such as how models, training runs, checkpoints, and trajectories are represented
Who we're looking for:
A visual / systems designer with a portfolio of dense B2B or developer tools
Either works in Figma or comfortable vibe coding visual iterations directly on our platform
Not responsible for production PRs or merging these into the product
Products we admire: Stripe, Linear, Vercel, Braintrust, Supabase, Modal, Figma, and Notion.
