Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist for a 3-6 month project, with 4+ years in procurement or customer service. You will review quotes, issue POs, manage catalogs, process RMAs, and oversee end-to-end Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles using Excel, Salesforce.com, and NetSuite.

The role is full-time and in-office, with collaboration across sales, operations, and finance to maintain high operational standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in customer service, procurement, or purchasing; tech or managed services preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Advanced Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with Salesforce.com and NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM systems.
• Excellent typing skills and data-entry accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with some supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and compare sales quotes against customer POs for accuracy.
• Issue POs for required materials promptly and accurately.
• Create, maintain, and update the item catalog with extreme accuracy.
• Process RMAs for customer credits efficiently.
• Manage end-to-end Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
• Utilize Excel, Outlook, Salesforce.com, and NetSuite for daily tasks.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams.
• Support compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
• Identify process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
