Job summary

Actalent in Horsham, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to build and integrate complex capital equipment per engineering drawings. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and fluid installations, ensuring fit, function, and reliability.

You will interpret CAD models, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and use SAP to record work. The role offers first and second shifts on site with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

25+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., semiconductor, aerospace or medical device).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical/electrical documentation.
Proficiency with CAD tools and SolidWorks to understand assemblies and layouts.
Ability to work from schematics to guide electrical and fluid system installation and troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills for complex capital equipment builds.
Demonstrated troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
Experience using SAP or other ERP systems in manufacturing.
Background in manufacturing operations with adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

Build and integrate complex capital equipment per drawings and specifications.
Install mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems ensuring proper fit, function, and alignment.
Diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics to guide activity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support product/process improvements.
Partner with quality and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reliability.
Use troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation of build activities and configurations.
Follow procedures for regulated manufacturing environments (semiconductor, aerospace, medical).
Leverage SAP or ERP systems to record work and track parts.
