Job summary

Flyhpa seeks a contract pilot to operate the Cessna 340A under Part 91 from Conroe, TX. This as-needed 1099 role covers owner-directed trips, repositioning, and maintenance flights, with potential transition to full-time salaried work as activity grows.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, professional, and comfortable with a pressurized piston twin in Gulf Coast conditions. Current FAA rating, medical, and logs are required; a long-term relationship is desired.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate — Airplane Multi-Engine Land is required.
• Instrument rating current for single-pilot IFR is required.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical is required.
• Current flight review and instrument currency is required.
• Must pass background check and provide pilot resume, certificates, medical, and logbook.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Cessna 340A safely and in full compliance with FARs and insurance requirements.
• Conduct thorough preflight planning including weather, fuel, weight, and balance.
• Provide professional, discreet service to owners and passengers.
• Coordinate scheduling, FBO services, fuel, catering, and ground transportation as needed.
• Complete post-flight walkarounds and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain flight logs, Hobbs/Tach records, and trip documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance on aircraft status, inspections, and ADs.
• Fly maintenance, repositioning, and post-maintenance test flights as requested.
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and readiness between trips.

Education

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate — Airplane Multi-Engine Land

Instrument rating current for single-pilot IFR

Current FAA Second-Class Medical

Current flight review and instrument currency

Willingness to pass background check and provide logs
