CSI Recruiting is seeking a Lead Pilot to operate a Citation CJ1+ under FAA Part 91 from Fort Worth, Texas. The role combines flying, safety leadership, and aviation department management for a private energy company.

This is a hands-on executive position requiring extensive flight experience, budget oversight, maintenance coordination, and coordination with ownership group to ensure reliable, cost-conscious travel for executives.

Qualifications

• ATPL and FAA First Class Medical required.
• CJ1+ type rating required.
• Min 5,000 total flight hours with 2,000 PIC.
• 1,000+ turbine PIC hours and 1,000+ multi-engine hours.
• Strong knowledge of Part 91 operations and corporate aviation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safety-first culture and ensure Part 91 compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and flight readiness.
• Lead safety discussions and risk assessments.
• Manage insurance, budgets, and cost control.
• Arrange travel, crew, and ground handling; oversee vendor relations.
• Provide leadership to ownership group and CEO as needed.
