Job summary

MedCap Health is recruiting Contract Physicians to provide post-acute care across our facilities. This physician-led organization offers autonomy with schedule flexibility and growth opportunities, including telemedicine support for overnight and weekend coverage.

The role involves hospital-grade care in a long-term care setting, leading a medical team, and delivering high-quality patient outcomes. Board eligibility in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience preferred to guide a medical team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-acute care in a long-term care facility.
• Lead a team of multi-specialists and nurse practitioners.
• Foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
• Assist with complex cases as needed.
• Ensure hospital-level quality of care across post-acute services.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics
• Ability to work flexible Monday through Friday schedules during the day with some weekends as needed
• Preferred - leadership experience
