The Recruiting Hive is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Rock Hill, SC. This role requires venipuncture experience, proper labeling, and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab environment.

Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for permanent hire. A valid state phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma or GED are required. Benefits are available to staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate areas and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and label correctly.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
