True North Consultants, Inc. in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture, label and prepare specimens, and ensure accurate patient information and specimen handling.

You will follow established procedures, maintain documentation, comply with OSHA regulations, and participate in routine trainings. The position runs 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Update patient information and collect/store specimens following established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling and testing requests.
