Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks an experienced Phlebotomist for a contract role in Rock Hill, SC. Typical schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with lab protocols. Requires valid state phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and maintain data logs.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package, store and transport specimens per test orders and protocols.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
