Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Cumming, GA. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling and processing, and ensuring patient comfort.

The schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday through Friday, with an initial duration of 3 months and the potential for permanent placement. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience and be certified.

Experience with all age groups and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations is required; benefits are available.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum 2 years of experience.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously for patients and demonstrate technique.
• Understand physicians' orders; match requisitions to specimens and verify labeling and testing orders.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per required conditions to maintain integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings and respond to inquiries.
