Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for testing.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens as required.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously.
• Follow physician orders and match requisitions to tubes.
• Package specimens and ensure proper transport conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient information and records.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; participate in trainings.
