Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Update patient information and explain venipuncture process clearly.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
