Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, collect and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and demonstrate technique.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store per required temperatures.
