Phlebotomist II – Katy, TX • Mon–Fri 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (rotational weekends)
Pay range: $21.03+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications. Eligible candidates may also receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
- Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
- Administer oral solutions as trained.
- Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
- Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
- Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments following corporate policies.
- Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport).
- Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email).
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data.
- Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs) timely.
- Complete online and in‑person training courses on time.
Qualifications
Required Work Experience
- Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
The position requires effective communication in English.
