Responsibilities

• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and obtain proper consent when required.
• Match lab requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure accurate labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store them correctly according to protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual department trainings.
