Hire Consulting Services in Vista, CA is hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract role with a path to permanent placement. Schedule: 6 AM–6 PM, Mon–Fri, with weekend rotation and potential early start.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, specimen handling, data recording, OSHA compliance, and patient communication. Requires state phlebotomy certification and six months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital; reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and handle specimens per protocol; ensure proper storage and transport.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and document results as required.
