H. T. PROF Group is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to extend to permanent. Schedule: Mon-Thu, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM; Fri, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and specimen transport; requires phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of fast-paced lab experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection according to established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens as required by test orders.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination, and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature control during storage.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
