Job Juncture has an opening for a phlebotomist on a contract basis in Oklahoma. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and handling according to procedures, with emphasis on accuracy and patient communication.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, for an estimated 3 months with potential for permanent employment. Minimum qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection as assigned.
• Label, centrifuge, and record maintenance data for specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature control.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
