Top Echelon Software LLC in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for a 3-month assignment with potential for permanent placement. The role requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy, along with certification and fast-paced lab experience.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm, in a clinical or hospital setting. Applicants should be prepared to handle blood draws, specimen labeling, and proper data/documentation while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data as required.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and obtain informed consent when needed.
• Package and transport specimens following established protocols and ensure specimen integrity.
