Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC for a 3-month contract with potential to convert to permanent. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing while ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the employing state (varies by state).
• At least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and handle specimens per procedures.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and maintain data records.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per temperature requirements.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
