Job summary

The Tom Trese Networking LLC in Due West, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3‑month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role runs Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and includes benefits.

The primary duties include blood collection, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data. Candidates should have a valid Phlebotomy certification, and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, with proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, label and centrifuge specimens, and maintain data.
• Collect and store specimens according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and/or other staff.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer telephone calls and communicate lab results as needed.
