Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role. Duties include blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, recording maintenance data and updating patient information in the lab system.

Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification valid for the employing state.
At least 6 months venipuncture experience in a lab or hospital.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
Demonstrate technique with straight needles or butterfly needles.
Ensure all test requisitions match scripts and transport specimens appropriately.
Store specimen samples according to required temperatures and protocols.
Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
